About Resurrect Bio
Resurrect Bio is a VC‑backed plant biotech start‑up discovering how to make crops resistant to disease using gene editing. We fix the immune system of crop species by resurrecting resistance genes without introducing new DNA. We focus on delivering a better way to protect plants, enabling increased food production, reduced land use and climate mitigation. In December 2021 the company spun out of The Sainsbury Lab, Norwich, attracted VC and UK Government funding, and recently raised a Series A round.
