Shifts • Monday to Friday – 05:30 Starts Rates of Pay • £17.00 – £18.00 per hour • Temp to perm opportunity with bonuses paid upon completion of probation Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Ongoing work • Weekly pay • Training provided • Immediate starts • Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • Carry out multidrop deliveries (handball required) • Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections • Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured correctly • Adhere to traffic laws and regulations • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers • Report vehicle defects or maintenance requirements • Assist with loading/unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C Licence • Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience • No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only) • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Good spoken and written English • Excellent punctuality and time-keeping • Strong understanding of road laws • Effective communication skills • Must be over 25 years old due to insurance requirements Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience • Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply If you are looking for a stable hands-on driving role with long-term prospects, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
