Equans is looking for a Working Facilities Supervisor to join our team in Roche Diagnostics, Charles Avenue, Burgess Hill, RH15 9RY on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £28,928.00 per annum and benefits package. Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri - 08:00 - 17:00, 1 hour lunch break Required to cover a min x2 security shifts per week which could be either 06:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 06:00. May fall on weekends What will you deliver? To deliver a range of customer-focused facilities support and premises services, in accordance with agreed service standards and user requirements, covering two client sites. Responsible for managing the day-to-day security operations, including leading a team, overseeing minor maintenance and repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. It will be expected that the postholder will move between properties on the same day if required. The Facilities Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the client’s assets and infrastructure. Their impact on the company can be significant across multiple dimensions: Operational Efficiency: The Facilities Supervisor will be highly visible with specific focus on client liaison and staff motivation and direction Resource Oversight: Responsible for managing contractors and internal teams, the Facilities Supervisor ensures that resources such as labour, equipment, and supplies are used efficiently and effectively. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations reduces legal and liability risks, protecting the company's reputation and avoiding costly penalties. Impact on Revenue and Business Continuity: Indirectly supports revenue generation by maintaining operational continuity and safety, enabling core business activities. What We Offer. SIA accreditation (Front line) Trained first aider Proven supervisory experience Demonstrable experience of security and mail handling operations Demonstrable experience of customer facing facilities management services Health and Safety experience Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and/or using visual media Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve objectives on time Ability to work collaboratively in a team and with different professional groups Experienced in providing a positive and responsive customer service Ability to use initiative and creative thinking to resolve day-to-day-problems Who are we?
