Background
The School of Communication and Creativity at City St George’s, University of London, unites the renowned Department of Journalism with new departments in Media, Culture & Creative Industries, and Performing Arts. The Quality & Student Experience team supports academic excellence across these areas. This role ensures high standards in programme management, development and review, contributing to a dynamic, forward-thinking academic environment.
Responsibilities
The post holder will oversee and enhance quality assurance processes within the School, including programme approval, amendment and review. They will provide expert advice to staff and students, service key committees, lead on quality-related projects such as CMS data migration, and ensure compliance with university regulations.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will have experience in higher education quality assurance, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex procedures with accuracy and attention to detail. They will be confident using IT systems, and skilled in balancing independent initiative with collaborative teamwork.
