An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join my clients team in their Hull Offices.
My client is a well established law firm with an outstanding reputation for providing expert legal services to individuals and businesses.
The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial professional who's seeking work in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Ledger:
• Prepare and submit invoices and credit notes accurately.
• Post receipts and manage transfers between client and office ledgers.
• Monitor and clear residual balances within 60 days of billing.
• Send payment reminders and chase outstanding debts.
• Preparation and drafting of bills, re-calculating time in the ledgers and reviewing contractual information.
Purchase & Disbursement Ledger:
• Reconcile purchase and disbursement accounts monthly.
• Register and process invoices and disbursements promptly.
Nominal Ledger:
• Prepare VAT returns and maintain asset registers.
• Manage bank reconciliations and client money accounts in line with SRA guidelines.
• Reconcile petty cash and maintain accurate records.
