Overview
As a Welding Technician, you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality welded assemblies that support the smooth running of production and assembly operations. Working with mild steel, aluminium, and stainless steel, you’ll follow weld procedures, work to detailed drawings, and ensure your work meets exacting standards.
Responsibilities
* Produce high-quality welded assemblies in a timely and safety-conscious manner
* Work from engineering drawings, jigs, and fixtures across a range of materials
* Follow welding procedures and carry out self-inspection of work, maintaining accurate records
* Collaborate with colleagues across manufacturing, assembly, and quality control
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a safe, tidy workplace
What We’re Looking For
* Time-served welding experience
* Proven expertise with TIG welding (aluminium and stainless steel essential)
* Fabrication and fitting experience (desirable)
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a proactive, team-focused attitude
* BS 4872 welder competence (desirable)
Hours are 7am - 4pm with an early finish on Friday
