The role
* Class cover (PPA/absence) across KS1/KS2 using school routines and shared planning
* Targeted interventions: phonics/early reading, number fluency, writing conferencing (small group & 1:1)
* SEN support: implement visuals/now-next, differentiation, and calm behaviour strategies
* Assessment & feedback: quick pupil notes, update trackers, communicate next steps to the class teacher/SENCO
* Classroom routines: set up/tidy learning stations, prep resources, support smooth transitions
* Parent partnership: contribute to handovers and celebration of progress where appropriate
* Safeguarding first: follow policies, log concerns accurately and promptly
You’ll bring
* HLTA status (or Level 3 TA with strong cover experience)
* Secure phonics delivery and KS1/KS2 curriculum knowledge
* Calm, consistent behaviour practice with clear routines and positive reinforcement
* Confidence leading groups and whole-class sessions from shared plans
* Solid admin: timely notes, simple data updates, tidy resources
* Right to work in the UK; Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain); up-to-date references
