Base Salary:

Our operations run 24/6, and you will cover various early and late shifts totaling 35 hours per week. Flexibility is essential, as the nature of the role may lead to unpredictable finishing times. However, we provide a rota 12 weeks in advance, allowing you to enjoy meaningful time off. About the Role
As a PCO, you will work collaboratively to provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on their physical and mental wellbeing. Your key responsibilities will include: Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, ensuring their safety at all times. Monitoring detainees during court sessions to maintain security. Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Ensuring detainees have access to food and drink, catering to dietary needs. Monitoring the health of detainees and reporting any concerns. Maintaining a secure court environment and responding to emergencies. Completing necessary paperwork accurately. Collaborating with court staff and law enforcement for smooth operations. What You Need
We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds. What matters most is your commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Ideally, you should have: A valid driver's license. Good physical fitness and strong communication skills. The ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. A background in criminology or psychology is a plus, but not required. You will receive comprehensive training over 5.5 weeks to equip you for this vital role. Our Assessment Process

All roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, and employment offers are subject to Enhanced Level 2 checks and satisfactory references.
