- £53,300 Leyland Days Only (Mon-Fri) gap technical are proud to be representing this global manufacturing business in their search for a HGV & Plant Technician to work at their facility based near Leyland Performance Objections Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, repairs & MOTs on HGV's, Trailers, Pool Cars & Other Plant to VOSA standard Diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical & electrical faults using Texa diagnostic equipment Dismantle, repair/replace faulty components and test the new ones are working safely Liaise with HGV workshop administrator to order vehicle parts Good communication and maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment Person Specification 4 Years of HGV/Plant Technician experience Apprentice trained and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent Holds valid HGV Class 1 (C&E) Licence (Desirable) MOT Preparation Experience
- Tractor Units & Trailers Previous experience working with HGV's and Plant, basic welding skills, hydraulic & auto electrical skills Hardworking and can work well under pressure in a safe and responsible manner IRTEC Accreditation (Desirable) Loler competence
