Role Overview
There are three specialist community learning disability teams (CLDTs) across Aberdeenshire; this post is based within the North CLDT. Each team has a small specialist speech and language therapy team as part of a multidisciplinary community learning disability team that includes a full range of professionals and care managers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist speech and language therapy to clients with learning disabilities across a large geographical area. The caseload will be mixed, including complex, dysphagic and forensic clients. You will deliver services in a supportive team structure with regular supervision and assistant/HCSW support.
Requirements
A broad range of learning disability experience to manage a diverse range of clients. A driving licence and access to a car are essential.
