We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and flexible Nursery Teaching Assistant to join an early years team on a short-term basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children and can adapt quickly to a supportive, nurturing environment. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Support the day-to-day activities and routines in the nursery
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment for children aged 2–4
* Provide individual and small group support as needed
* Support children with their personal care and early development needs
* Work closely with nursery staff to ensure consistency and high standards of care
Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant:
* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable
* A warm, patient, and friendly approach
* Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to step in as needed
* Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
