The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, preparing materials and carrying out fabrication work to high quality standards.The successful MIG TIG Welder Fabricator will work with a variety of tools, welding equipment and heavy steel materials while ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and within project deadlines.

Apply Now for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the MIG TIG Welder Fabricator include:Operating Welding Equipment: Joining metal components using MIG, TIG and arc welding techniquesReading Engineering Drawings: Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirementsFabricating Components: Manufacturing and repairing metal structures and components to specificationInspecting Welds: Checking completed welds to ensure structural soundness and quality standards are metPreparing Materials: Using hand tools and grinding equipment to prepare materials for weldingMaintaining Equipment: Carrying out routine maintenance and checks on welding machinery and toolsWorking Safely: Following all relevant health and safety procedures within the workshop environmentMeeting Deadlines: Completing fabrication and welding tasks within agreed timescalesCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSPrevious Experience: Proven experience in welding and fabrication within an engineering or manufacturing environmentTechnical Drawing Skills: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsWelding Knowledge: Experience using MIG, TIG and arc welding techniquesFabrication Skills: Ability to operate welding and fabrication machinery safely and effectivelyMaterial Handling: Experience working with heavy steel materials would be advantageousTool Competency: Confident using hand tools, grinders and measuring equipmentAttention To Detail: Ability to produce accurate, high-quality fabrication workCommunication Skills: Able to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions accuratelyHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
