Part-Time Finance Officer - Cardiff City Centre\n £25,500 FTE - Pro Rata | 21 Hours per Week | Hybrid Working\n\nAre you a finance professional looking for a meaningful role in a dynamic, values-led organisation?\n\nOur client, a Welsh cultural not-for-profit with a proud and significant heritage, is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer to join their team in Cardiff City Centre. This is a part-time role (21 hours per week), with flexibility to work either across five shorter days or three full days, and only one day per week required in the office.\n\nThis is a unique opportunity to contribute to an organisation that plays a vital role in promoting and preserving Welsh culture, language, and arts.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage and maintain the sales ledger and purchase ledger\n\nProcess payments and invoices efficiently and accurately\n\nRun monthly payroll for 20+ salaried staff members\n\nCarry out account reconciliations and assist with month-end tasks\n\nUse Sage accounting software to support day-to-day financial operations\n\nSupport financial reporting and year-end preparations\n\nIdeal Candidate Will Have:\n\nPrevious experience in a finance/accounts role\n\nProficiency in Sage software (essential)\n\nExperience running payroll for a similar-sized team\n\nExcellent attention to detail and organisational skills\n\nAbility to work independently and manage deadlines\n\nWhat's On Offer:\n\nSalary of £25,500 FTE (pro rata for 21 hours per week)\n\nFlexible working pattern\n\nHybrid working model - only 1 office day per week required \n\nHours/days to be flexible around you (Perfect for parents with childcare commitments) \nThe chance to be part of a warm, inclusive team with a strong cultural mission\n\nIf you're passionate about numbers and want to work for an organisation that celebrates and protects Welsh heritage, we'd love to hear from you
