Production Welder – Immediate Start
We are currently seeking two skilled Production Welders to join our team without delay. Please note that the Stores and Assembly positions have now been filled.
Position Details
* Role: Production Welder
* Shift Pattern: Rotating Shifts
* Hours:
o Week 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 2:00pm; Friday, 6:00am – 1:00pm
o Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:00pm; Friday, 1:00pm – 8:00pm
Key Responsibilities
* Accurately read and interpret fabrication drawings
* Weld Mild Steel, DF and Pre-galvanised materials of varying thicknesses
* Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
* Identify and resolve potential issues with profiles before and during production
* Grind and polish finished products to a high standard
* Maintain meticulous attention to detail and uphold quality throughout all tasks
Candidate Requirements
* Proven welding experience in a production environment
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Successful completion of a weld test as part of the recruitment process
* Physically able to handle steel components
