Overview
This role plays a critical part in supporting and developing the day-to-day frontline workforce to provide an excellent service to all customers and clients.
Responsibilities
* Workforce planning and management
* Team management - development of managers and front line employees
* Communicating with clients professionally to ensure retention of high end contracts
* Responsible for the renewal of the annual ACS audit
* Responsible for achieving KPI's and SLA (e.g., Audits, Revenue Growth, Revenue per client, Profit margin, client retention and satisfaction)
* Actively seek out new business opportunities and achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organisation plans
* Develop, monitor and review health, safety and security policies, procedures and guidance
* Management and application of the security budget
* Developing plans for security activities
* Support to all other departments with security and related issues
* Direct, manage and carry out recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria
* Train and appraise individual team members to ensure targets are met
* Direct and manage the preparation and agreement of individual action plans and targets for all team members
* Direct and manage the development and preparation of the organisation's security strategy and general business planning
* Prepare and carry out presentations; present proposals to enable the team to deliver effective security
* Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability and review
* Responsible for ensuring that our people are trained, developed, performance managed and supported in order to meet and possibly exceed the expectations of the role, achieve their own aspirations, understand their career path and make this a great place to work
* Current SIA License
* Senior level experience of security management
* Thorough understanding of security management obligations
* Strong communications skills
* Client engagement
* Recognised Security qualifications such as a Diploma in Security Studies, CISM etc would be advantageous but not essential

Benefits
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 plus car / car allowance & Company benefit package
