Offer description

Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 per year Requirements: We require proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in large-scale, complex technology environments. We require strong experience designing enterprise-wide architectures rather than focusing only on individual solutions. We require demonstrable experience separating or re-platforming technology estates and standing up new technical environments. We require deep understanding of integration architecture, including end-to-end workflows, dependencies, and distributed systems. We require strong expertise in AWS, including cloud architecture and platform strategy. We require practical experience with contact centre platforms and technologies such as Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, and NICE. We require excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels. We require strong enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and design skills across application and infrastructure domains. We require the ability to define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails in a complex environment. We value exposure to Managed Service Provider (MSP) models and their implementation in large technology estates. We value experience working alongside system integrators and multiple technology vendors in complex programmes. We value experience in enterprise-scale infrastructure design and architecture. We value a background in major transformation or separation programmes. We require the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. We require strong influencing and negotiation skills to align diverse stakeholders behind the target architecture. Responsibilities: We define and own the enterprise-level architecture for a large-scale contact centre technology estate, ensuring it meets current and future business needs. We lead the separation of the existing technology estate from the current technology operations function, establishing a new standalone technical environment. We analyse the current technology landscape to understand integrations, workflows, dependencies, and constraints across the estate. We redesign end-to-end integrations, workflows, and dependencies to support a modern, scalable, and resilient contact centre business. We ensure the enterprise architecture aligns with business strategy, operational goals, scalability requirements, and transformation objectives. We design and implement a Managed Service Provider (MSP) model to support and operate the new environment effectively. We lead the cloud strategy and build for the new environment, with a strong focus on AWS architecture and platform strategy. We oversee the creation and hosting of applications within the new environment, ensuring they fit within agreed architectural standards and patterns. We define and maintain architectural standards, patterns, guardrails, and principles for ongoing and future platform development. We act as the architectural authority and primary interface with third-party technology providers and system integrators. We review and integrate vendor-specific solution designs into a single, coherent enterprise architecture that delivers interoperability and consistency. We ensure the overall architecture delivers interoperability, resilience, security, and performance across all platforms and services. We support the build-out of new technology teams aligned to the new organisational structure and operating model. We influence and shape the future technology operating model for contact centre services, including processes, roles, and responsibilities. We provide architectural leadership and guidance across delivery, operations, and transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to the target architecture. We engage and manage senior stakeholders effectively, communicating complex architectural concepts in a clear and credible way. We collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful delivery of the new environment and ongoing evolution of the architecture. Technologies: AWS Architect Cloud Cisco Genesys Support Network Security More: We are hiring a senior Enterprise Architect to join a major transformation programme in London, UK, on a daily rate of 350.00 - 400.00 GBP. This role sits within a large-scale contact centre business and gives us full end-to-end ownership of the technical architecture as we separate an existing technology estate into a new, independent environment. We are working with multiple third-party technologies to create a coherent, scalable, and future-proof architecture, and we need someone who can operate at a strategic enterprise level while influencing senior stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. This opportunity is being delivered through TEKsystems, part of the Allegis Group network. last updated 24 week of 2026
