High‑Growth Health & Wellness Beverage Brand | UK Retail Scale‑Up


Our client is a fast‑growing health and wellness beverage brand at an exciting inflection point. Having built strong momentum across D2C, Amazon and early retail wins, the business is now focused on accelerating national distribution across the UK’s leading grocery, pharmacy and specialist retailers.


To support this next phase of growth, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Sales — a commercially astute, entrepreneurial leader with a proven track record of scaling challenger brands within the UK retail landscape.


The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to join a founder‑led, high‑growth business and take full ownership of its retail and wholesale growth strategy. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial direction of the brand, building long‑term retailer partnerships, and scaling a high‑performing sales function.

The role will suit someone who thrives in hands‑on environments, is comfortable operating at pace, and is motivated by building something meaningful rather than inheriting a fully formed machine.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and execute the UK retail growth strategy across major grocery multiples, pharmacy, convenience and specialist retail
* Secure new listings and expand distribution with key customers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrisons, Boots, Superdrug and Holland & Barrett
* Own and develop senior buyer and category relationships
* Define pricing, promotional and commercial frameworks aligned to retailer expectations
* Lead, develop and scale the sales team in line with business growth
* Work closely with marketing, operations and finance to ensure seamless execution, forecasting and P&L management
* Play a central role in supporting new product launches and international expansion initiatives


About You

You will be a commercially driven sales leader with a strong reputation for delivery. Specifically, you are likely to bring:

* A demonstrable track record of scaling FMCG brands within UK retail
* Experience working with major grocery multiples and national accounts
* Strong understanding of retail mechanics including pricing, promotions, margins and distribution
* Experience operating in health, wellness, functional drinks or supplements (highly desirable)
* A hands‑on, entrepreneurial mindset — equally comfortable setting strategy and executing day‑to‑day
* The credibility and gravitas to operate as a senior commercial leader within a growth business
