What you’ll be doing
* Taking ownership of month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments
* Ensuring financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered on time
* Performing and reviewing detailed balance sheet reconciliations
* Managing payroll and supporting VAT processes alongside the tax team
* Preparing audit documentation and supporting year-end processes
* Strengthening controls, improving processes, and enhancing reporting
* Collaborating across teams to solve problems and drive best practice
What we’re looking for
* Newly qualified ACA straight from practice or 1-2 years PQE
* Practice-trained, ideally with an audit background
* Strong grasp of UK GAAP / IFRS and internal controls
* Confident communicator with a proactive, self-starting mindset
* Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is a bonus
