The Role:
Achievement of profit and sales revenue objectives within a given national account(s).
Business development and relationship management within the defined base of all aspects of financial and non-financial Account performance including national account strategy development, promotional programmes, service levels and issue resolution.
* Achievement of Sales and Profit objectives
* Development of Effective National Account Strategy
* Development of National Channel Business Plans
* Monitor and manage national account performance against plan
* Development of Key Partnership ProgrammesLeadership of cross functional (virtual) team
* Client Relationship Management of National Accounts
* Effective Commercial support for Accord Colleagues
* Input into and implementation of Accord commercial strategy and plans
The Person:
* Proven national and key account experience with the Healthcare market i.e. generics, brand or OTC
* Excellent business acumen and commercial judgement
* Highly tuned negotiation skills
* Highly developed analytical skills
* Excellent planning skills
* Ability to lead and influence the organisation to deliver account related goals
* Highly credible with good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interface effectively with the customer and internal personnel and capable of representing Accord at the most senior levels within national channels.
* Excellent market knowledge and understanding of regulatory processes and supply chain
* A strong team player with the ability to work on their own initiative.
Graduate calibre but not necessarily graduate qualified
Business or Finance qualification an advantage
