About the Role
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours
Location: Remote – Field based role
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance
Responsibilities
* Generating new mortgage business from the intermediary market
* Promoting mortgage products and identifying fresh business opportunities
* Building strong, positive and productive relationships with brokers
* Supporting the Society’s growth strategy through proactive business development
* Representing our brand in the intermediary market and raising product awareness
* Working closely with internal teams to maximise opportunities and ensure smooth processes
* Bringing energy, ambition and drive to help shape and grow our BDM function
Qualifications
* Proven track record of delivering strong sales and customer experience outcomes
* Experience leading high‑performing teams with a confident, inspiring leadership style
* Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder‑management skills at a senior level
* Background in financial services with experience in an external sales environment (including prospecting) and a strong sales track record
* Comfortable building relationships, developing business and working autonomously
* Able to interpret performance data and use insight to drive action
