Carnival Corporation are in search of a Data Solutions Manager, who is crucial in supporting our Corporate direction and nurturing a high-performing team.
The Manager, Data Solution is responsible for leading the data scrum team, which includes scrum masters, business analysts, and technical data support specialists, to troubleshoot and drive resolution to open data issues (ADO) in MAST. This role involves prioritizing and following through on open data issues transitioned to the team via Hypercare closure and/or identified in production through ongoing operations. The Manager, Data Solution will work closely with Brand data contacts and serve as the first point of issue escalation. The role will also serve as the overall data solution architect across the MAST data support organization and is expected to be the anchor for generating and development of data solution to drive global data initiatives and resolution of highly complex data issues. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in root cause analysis, long-term resolution strategies, and a deep understanding of the MAST & AMOS data models to drive complex issue resolution and mentor team members.
Key accountabilities include:
1. Lead the data scrum team to troubleshoot and resolve open data issues (ADO) in MAST (30%).
2. Prioritize and follow through on open data issues transitioned via Hypercare closure and/or identified in production (25%).
3. Provide expertise in root cause analysis and advice on long-term resolution strategies (20%).
4. Serve as the overall data solution architect across the MAST data support organization to generate data solution for global data initiatives and resolve highly complex data issues
5. Connect with Brand data contacts and serve as the first point of issue escalation (15%).
Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK08, offered as a full-time position, on a permanent basis, we offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.
