Summary
Under the guidance of a teacher and experienced Early Years Practitioners, the apprentice will be involved in working with children to support the education, personal, social and emotional development of pupils. They will establish positive relationships to assist in structured learning activities and free play. Duties may include: supporting learning activities; assisting in the development of skills that support pupils' learning; and supporting children with additional needs. The apprentice will assist in pupil supervision and pupil progress and development. The apprentice will also be expected to support our children in wraparound care (after school club) approximately two days per week (by agreement) until 5pm or 6pm.
You will join a nursery school where professional development is highly valued. You will work towards achieving your Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification which is the stepping stone for a future career. You will learn above and beyond in our nurturing nursery school, which is highly sought after in the local area. This experience will make you stand out from the rest.
Although the vacancy is advertised as fixed term, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position for a suitable applicant at the end of the Apprenticeship.
