Job Overview
As the Senior Podiatrist you will cover a range of podiatry services. Our work focuses on routine and ulcer care for the patients with high‑risk feet, including those with diabetes, rheumatoid conditions and other complex health backgrounds. You will have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for improving patient care.
Responsibilities
* The assessment, diagnosing, planning and implementation of high‑risk podiatric care, including ulcer management, for patients with a wide range of clinical needs.
* Providing education and health promotion.
* Providing a high‑quality person‑centred approach to care delivery which always considers peoples safety, privacy, and dignity.
You will work alongside our hospital diabetic foot care services and community podiatry services. You will also have the opportunity to rotate through the diabetic foot clinic.

Working Hours
The Senior Community Podiatry role is a full‑time position; part‑time applications (minimum 22.5 hours) are also welcomed. We can be flexible with how hours are met; this can be discussed at interview.
Additional Requirements
Driver’s licence and access to a car are essential.
The role requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Location and Relocation
We are based in Dorset. A generous relocation package of up to £10,000 is available for suitable candidates.
