Job Summary

The MRB (Material Review Board) Engineer will serve as the technical liaison between Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering/Operations, ensuring that non-conformances are effectively assessed, resolved, and prevented. This role supports the disposition of MRB items, conducting root cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The MRB Engineer will ensure that corrective actions are implemented, design intent is protected, and airworthiness standards are maintained.


Responsibilities

* Review and disposition MRB items in collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
* Perform engineering assessments of non-conformances, ensuring compliance with airworthiness, safety, and certification requirements.
* Act as the primary liaison between Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering/Operations to ensure efficient communication and resolution of technical issues.
* Support and lead root cause investigations, implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurrence of issues.
* Assist the Design Department in the preparation of design and compliance documents for
* EASA/CAA/FAA certification.
* Ensure MRB dispositions are fully documented and traceable in accordance with internal procedures and customer/regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and manufacturability of products.
* Contribute to the development of engineering standards, best practices, and lessons learned from MRB activities.


Qualifications

* Minimum bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent experience).
* Proven experience in an aerospace or aviation engineering environment (design, manufacturing, or MRB role preferred).
* Working knowledge of aerospace quality standards, certification requirements and industry
* regulations.
* Strong understanding of design for manufacture, aerospace materials, and processes.
* Experience with root cause analysis methodologies e.g. 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in CAD.
* Experience with PDM/PLM, and ERP systems preferred.
* Lean/Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma experience advantageous.

Working Hours

* 07:30 -16:15: Monday-Thursday
* 07:30-16:00: Fridays
* (Every other Friday is a non-working day)
