We are looking for two Apprentice Enforcement Officers to join our busy Trading Standards team. The contracts will be fixed for 2 years to allow the successful candidates to complete the Regulatory Apprenticeship Scheme.

We play an active role in regional and partnership working, aiming to deliver a safe, fair and prosperous environment for businesses and consumers.
As an Apprentice Enforcement Officer, you will work alongside experienced officers to investigate complaints, carry out inspections, and support enforcement action against rogue traders. You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as illicit tobacco and vape enforcement, product safety and fair trading, licensing and age-restricted sales and consumer protection investigations.
You will also undertake formal training and development, working towards a level 4 qualification in Regulatory Compliance. Full training and support will be provided as part of the apprenticeship.
We're looking for candidates who are enthusiastic with a positive attitude, have a strong work ethic, are good communicators, act with honesty, integrity and professionalism, work well as part of a team and have a real interest in starting a career in enforcement and public protection.
