Why this job matters
This role is responsible for driving sales of BT’s Digital Global portfolio to its customers globally. The role involves proactively engaging our customers, positioning our portfolio, listening to needs and translating these needs into portfolio-based solutions and bespoke capabilities. The role drives deals to closure, shaping the design, configuration and commercial structure of the deals created. The role is focussed almost exclusively on creating new business and growth through the provision of expert portfolio knowledge (technical, commercial and procedural) to meet the demands of our customers.
The role provides portfolio and sales expertise to fulfil the demand created by account owners and customers to ensure the most appropriate proposition to meet the client's needs are developed and presented in a compelling way.
This job role is based in London. Hybrid (3 days office based & 2 days remote). Monday-Friday 37.5 hours. You must already have DV clearance to start this role. Must have lived in UK for 10 years+ in order to attain this clearance.
What you’ll be doing
* Work with and proactively drive account teams (field and inside sales) to create demand.
* Work with the account teams and lead on understanding, qualifying and developing opportunities using the Corporate Visions techniques and maintaining Salesforce accuracy.
* Proactively develop sales campaign plans, with the Account Manager/Directors for each customer, ensuring each member of the sales opportunity team understands their role and responsibility and delivers to it.
* Widen and deepen opportunities as appropriate to maximise the value of the opportunity for BT Global
* Develop excellent internal and customer relationships necessary to execute individually owned sales plans.
* Understand the customer’s strategy and priorities and be the leading expert in the execution of BT pricing, design and ordering processes, ensuring full compliance and delivering technically
* Understand the decision-making criteria of the client and BT and ensure BT’s proposal fits both.

What we'd like to see on your CV
* Leading a virtual team using a high degree of product and market expertise.
* Good communication and teamwork with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including customers, specialists, account managers and portfolio managers.
* Management of Stakeholder groups such as Global Vertical account team. Vertical Senior Sale Specialists, Portfolio Lead (for relevant Portfolio), customers and vertical account managers / sub vertical leader.
* Proven track record of sales experience.

Flexible Working
This role offers a 3 together, 2 wherever working model. This means you are required to be at your contractual location 3 days a week with 2 flexible days per week.
