Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: National Minimum Wage plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid-for volunteering days a year
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday – Friday

Role purpose
The warehouse role plays a critical function in the supply chain by ensuring that goods are stored, handled, and distributed effectively to meet customer demands while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
Key responsibilities
* Duties: Create shipments, book in a Purchase request, update work orders, access work orders for a warranty aspect, collate a bin report for checking stock locations, repaired stock transfers, adjustments and product changes, defective stock movements and creation of Repair work orders. Each process will be broken down to understand the requirements of each process.
* Shipment creation: A shipment is created from the D365 software and printed in a standard shipment format showing product, bin id, quantity and delivery address. The process runs every 30 minutes and acts as a manifest of who picked what, date, time, etc. Shipments must be completed correctly, including any image process designated to a specific customer or product, and a Configuration work order for the imaging team.
* Purchase order: Each booking in purchase request has a different aspect, stocking into a bin id for future requests. Warranty aspects require labeling in a specific way, updates added to a D365 timeline entry, and email notifications to the respective area for delivery updates.
* Transfers: A product is repaired and moved to a designated location for stocking. Engineer-returned stock is transferred to a warehouse bin and updated against the engineer\'s bin and the new stock holding bin id. Adjustments include product changes aligned to the MPN, and stock disposals as designated by the customer or aged stock.
* Deliveries: Any product received from a courier with damaged packaging should be opened and reported to the relevant team or supplier for potential damage claims.
* RMA Returns: When a product is returned under an unused RMA, the box is opened, the serial number and asset checked, and the unit verified to match the return. Any issues should be escalated to the Senior team.
* PI / Bin reports: All team members perform a bin check and a PI on the bin to ensure stock levels and reports are correct. Any issue goes to the senior team for investigation.
* Pallet creations: Any pallet created must be verified, and stock holding considered for height and weight based on the bay in use.
Skills and experience
* Stock management involves tracking products, quantities, and reorder timing to balance supply and demand and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
* Receipt of goods from a supplier is checked against the PO to confirm items are correct and complete.
* Stock discrepancies occur when counts do not match records; resolving them requires investigation and corrective actions to align inventory records with actual stock.
* Warehouse operations require careful planning, efficient execution, and coordination to maintain optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand.
* Using the Inventory Management module of Microsoft Dynamics 365 supports pallet checks and accurate inventory tracking and management.
* For warranty-covered issues, the company verifies coverage and gathers problem information to provide a repair or replacement solution if applicable.
