What you’ll be doing in this role:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students across Key Stages 3–4 (and possibly Key Stage 5).
* Assess, track, and support student progress, providing feedback to help them reach their potential.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated to learn.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
Essential Qualifications:
* A bachelor’s degree – usually in education or the subject you wish to teach (for example, English, maths, or science).
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – gained through an approved teacher training route such as a PGCE, School Direct, or apprenticeship.
* GCSE English and maths at grade 4 (C) or above – or equivalent qualifications.
* Enhanced DBS check – clearance to work with children and young people.
