Java / Angular Developer
Location: Manchester (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 Months + Extensions

We are currently looking for an experienced Java / Angular Developer to join a high-performing engineering team working on modern web applications and scalable backend services.
This role requires a strong full-stack developer who is comfortable working across both front-end and back-end technologies, contributing to the full software development life-cycle in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Development
1. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain modern web applications across the full technology stack.
Front-End Development
2. Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
Back-End Development
3. Develop server-side applications, APIs, and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
Database Management
4. Design and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance and scalability.
Testing & Quality Assurance
5. Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
Collaboration
6. Work closely with designers, product owners, and engineers within an Agile / Scrum delivery environment.
Required Skills & Experience
7. Minimum 5 years' experience in software engineering
8. Strong experience with Java and Angular
9. Experience building RESTful APIs
10. Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
11. Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
12. Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
13. Familiarity with NoSQL databases
14. Experience using Git, Jira, and CI/CD tools
15. Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
