As a Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher, you will deliver tailored lessons that support academic progress and emotional wellbeing, helping students build resilience, self-regulation, and positive relationships within a safe, inclusive learning environment. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet SEMH needs. Support students in managing emotions, behaviour, and engagement in learning. Create a calm, structured, and supportive classroom environment. Work closely with pastoral teams, SEN staff, and external professionals. Monitor progress and adapt strategies to support individual development. Requirements of SEMH Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working with students with SEMH needs. Strong behaviour management and emotional intelligence skills. A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach to teaching.
