We're looking for qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners to join us in our Oxfordshire Mental Health Support Teams!

Please note that this is not for the EMHP trainee places.
Main duties of the job
In this role, you'll work as an autonomous responsible practitioner and within the scope of your local job description, to engage in:
* Delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people in an educational setting with mild to moderate mental health problems.
* Supporting schools with their whole‑school approach to mental health (e.g., assemblies, workshops).
* Supporting/facilitating staff in educational settings to identify and, where appropriate, manage issues related to mental health and wellbeing.
* Helping children and young people within these settings who present with more severe problems to access more specialist services.

Person Specification
EMHP Competency
* Understanding of MHSTs and their role in schools and completion of EMHP qualification.
* Completion of EMHP course
* Experience of working within a CAMHS structure
* Experience of working in CAMHS at Band 4 or Band 5
Multi‑agency Approach
* Understanding of multi‑agency working to support schools
* Knowledge of schools system
* Ability to deliver intervention to children and families
* Experience of working directly in schools in a supportive role
