Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm (1 in 2 rota, potentially 1 in 3 for the right person)
Experienced Technician Wanted – Independent Garage Environment
We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Vehicle Technician to join a well-established and respected independent garage in Southend-on-Sea.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys working on a variety of vehicles including prestige, commercial vehicles and diagnostics-heavy work within a professional, close-knit workshop environment.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
* Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
* Working on a variety of vehicles including prestige
* Completing mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, clutches and engine work
* Supporting workshop efficiency and maintaining high workmanship standards
* Working closely with the team to deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
* Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Strong background working on brands such as prestige, premium or commercial vehicles
* Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
* Confident working independently and within a team
* Level 3 qualification preferred
* Full UK Driving Licence essential
