Residential property locum required for an immediate start to help a small high street firm with an influx of new work. This is a full-time role in the office on an ongoing contract.

Description
The Conveyancing Locum will be:
* Managing full conveyancing transactions (sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity)
* Progressing cases from initial instruction to completion
* Raising and responding to enquiries, ordering searches and discharge of mortgages
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors
* Preparing contracts, completion statements, SDLT forms, and Land Registry applications
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory and anti-money-laundering requirements
* Maintaining accurate case records and billing efficiently
* Providing excellent client updates and supporting Head of Conveyancing
Profile
The Conveyancing Locum should be:
* A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years' residential conveyancing experience
* Competent with freehold, leasehold, remortgage, and transfer of equity matters
* Experienced in SDLT, Land Registry and legal compliance
* Confident in client and stakeholder communication
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage workload independently
