* About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our front-of-house team — overseeing all aspects of service, working closely with the Head Chef and Assistant Manager, and ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional, memorable dining experience every time. You'll lead with warmth, professionalism and personality, inspiring your team to deliver consistent excellence in both service and guest care.

Key Responsibilities
o Oversee smooth, high-end restaurant service across all shifts
o Lead, train, and motivate the FOH team to deliver outstanding guest experiences
o Manage scheduling, hiring, inductions, and succession planning
o Drive performance through coaching, training and PDPs
o Monitor budgets, P&L, and payroll to achieve financial targets
o Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and service standards
o Maintain and improve operational systems, including POS and reservation software
o Collaborate with the Head Chef to review and refine menus
o Uphold the luxury atmosphere through upkeep of the dining environment
o Lead local marketing, sales promotions, and business growth initiatives
o Communicate effectively across departments and lead team meetings
Who You Are
o Experienced in managing a premium or luxury restaurant environment
o A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
o Confident managing budgets, financial targets, and operational systems
o Passionate about traditional British cuisine and countryside hospitality
o Service-focused with a keen eye for detail and standards
o Proficient with POS systems (preferably Micros)
o Proactive, innovative, and growth-oriented
