Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a well-established and successful Home Counties based Flooring Contractors, in their search for an Expert Commercial Flooring Estimator to deal with their increasing roster of Blue Chip Main Contractor clients enquiries and Tenders. Ideally our clients are seeking the following Qualities have require an excellent knowledge of the following disciplines: A good knowledge of and experience using Callidus Estimating Software. CAD skills. Finding alternatives to pre-defined specifications that are equal to or approved by the Client / Main Contractor. Pricing Bills of Quantities accurately. Taking site measurements to verify accuracy of Bills of Quantity. Checking bids are accurate and compliant before submitting them to Main Contractor. Following up bids with telephone calls to keep the pressure on the Main Contractor. Negotiating with Main Contractor opposite number the winning of bids for Flooring Contracts. Handing over projects once won, in a timely, organised and professional manner to Contracts Managers. Well presented. Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Spoken). The role would suit an experienced Estimator from a Commercial Flooring background, ideally with plenty of experience of dealing with major contractors Such as McAlpine, BAM, Wates, Kier Group, ISG etc. Our Clients offer a Really attractive package for the successful candidate as follows; Salary – Up to £50k basic (depending on experience and track record) Bonus – Around 10% of salary depending on margins achieved Holidays – 5 weeks (1 week to be taken during Christmas shutdown) Bank Holidays Company car – Audi A4 estate with leather upholstery Pension – 8% of salary RFL contribute 5% 3% successful candidate contribution.
