Opportunity: Head of Engineering (Confidential Search)
Location: UK

Requirements
* Advanced knowledge of electronic engineering within the rail industry or other transferable industries.
* Experienced in developing and leading a team of engineers with a focus on graduates.
* Track record of leading engineering transformation (systems/processes).
* Experience in R&D - product development for regulated industries (ideally rail).
* Soft Skills & Leadership: Engaging both externally and internally, strong communications skills, able to operate from boardroom to shop floor.
* Good operational leadership experience/balance of engineering R&D with Commercial, Operational Hands-on leadership.
* Willingness to be hands-on while leading a team.
* Resilient, organised and able to inspire through change.
