Your role
Beginning in September 2026, you will embark on an 18‑month rotational programme across a variety of teams within PAM, building a holistic understanding of the firm and its Fixed Income business. After the programme, you will return to the Distressed Debt team as a permanent Investment Analyst. In this role you will support the team by conducting fundamental analysis of leveraged and stressed issuers, including detailed financial statement review, credit ratio analysis, and building and maintaining financial models. You will monitor capital structures and covenants, prepare clear internal credit notes and memos, track market, sector and company‑specific news, contribute to idea generation, and update comparables and watchlists. The programme supports your professional development, including studying for relevant qualifications such as the CFA, attending the Graduate Training Programme in Geneva, and receiving training in interpersonal, leadership, communication and presentation skills.

* Solid understanding of corporate finance, financial statements, and basic fixed‑income concepts (bonds, loans, yields, spreads, capital structure) received through internships or work experience.
* Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modelling (three‑statement models, cash‑flow forecasts, covenant and leverage analysis) is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of AI instruments and basic coding skills.
* Curiosity about macroeconomic, sector and event‑driven factors that influence high‑yield and distressed valuations, and willingness to develop a differentiated investment view.
Communication and writing
* Clear written communication skills, with the ability to produce concise credit notes and research outputs for internal stakeholders.
* Confident verbal communication to discuss analysis with team members and to respond quickly to questions under time pressure.

* High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines in a fast‑moving market environment.
* Proactive, self‑starting attitude, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks, learn from feedback, and build expertise in distressed and high‑yield credit over time.
