Provide Facilities Support for Edinburgh Office (as required) Conduct Daily/Weekly Building H&S checks, H&S will form a large part of your role. Assist supervising all contractors (Hard & Soft Services), liaising with Building Maintenance Company for all aspects of maintenance. Ensuring prompt attention to any problems Ensure building (London) is always operationally ready (eyes and ears of FM team) Ensure a safe, compliant environment for staff & clients by ensuring processes are followed and where there are gaps in the processes escalate for resolution Set up AV equipment for meetings/events - troubleshooting where necessary Assist with internal 'event' set up in meeting rooms and on occasions support evening events Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with key stakeholders Assist managing onsite lockers & keyholding Assist upkeep of Building inventory, ensuring all items up to date Assist with Office Refurbishments (as required) Provide back-up to FM team (Reception / Security duties) in times of holiday and absence Experience Experience in Facilities Assistant role. IWFM or Facilities Certification / Membership (desirable) IOSH Certification (desirable, training can be provided) Fire Marshal / First Aid Training (desirable, training can be provided) Intermediate skills in Office 365 (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) Good technical knowledge of AV systems / New Technologies Confident and clear communication style. Comfortable communicating with all colleagues at all levels within your area Proactive and highly organised with the ability to plan and multi-task Work well under pressure and ability to use own initiative Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including hours, as you may be required to work evenings/weekends (rare) Good verbal and written English
