Sociable Hours available for experienced Support Workers in the Heanor area. We’re currently recruiting experienced support workers to work within a specialist Autism Day Service in Heanor, Derbyshire. This vibrant service offers a variety of structured activities tailored to each individual’s needs and interests.
Key Responsibilities
As a support worker, you’ll play a key role in assisting service users with their daily routines, encouraging independence, and helping them engage in meaningful activities that promote personal growth and confidence.
Requirements & Qualifications
* An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
* Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving and Handling training
* A Referenceable work history
* At least 3 months experience supporting service users with Autism within a formal support service
Training Assistance
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, we can help you. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
Hours and Pay
Ongoing hours with the opportunity to become a permanent position for the right candidate. We have flexible part time opportunities available for the right candidate with typical hours being 09:00 to 15:00 on days from Monday to Friday. You will be paid £12.21 per hour.
