Finance D365 Business Analyst – Perm
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Finance D365 Business Analyst to support end-to-end finance process improvement, requirements gathering, and systems enhancements.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong analytical capability and experience working with Dynamics 365 (D365 Finance & Operations) or similar ERP platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, document, and prioritise business and functional requirements across core finance processes (P2P, O2C, R2R, reporting).
* Translate financial and operational needs into clear specifications for system configuration and process change.
* Support D365 Finance & Operations enhancements, testing (SIT/UAT), and integration activities.
* Conduct AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping and identify opportunities for standardisation and automation.
* Partner with Finance, IT, and wider business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet operational, compliance, and financial reporting needs.
* Support data validation, migration activities, and post-go-live issue resolution.
* Provide insights, analysis, and recommendations to improve financial performance and control.
Skills & Experience
* strong Finance BA experience with ERP exposure.
* Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O (preferred) or similar finance systems (SAP, Oracle, Netsuite).
* Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting.
* Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management capability.
