Clinical Administrator – Outpatients
Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone
Salary: £26, per annum
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

KIMS Hospital is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Clinical Administrator to join our busy Outpatients Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or receptionist who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
As a Clinical Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our Outpatients service. Acting as a central point of contact for patients, consultants, and colleagues, you will provide comprehensive administrative support whilst ensuring every patient receives a warm, welcoming, and professional experience throughout their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide a friendly and professional administrative service to patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
2. Manage high-volume telephone enquiries, directing calls efficiently and always maintaining confidentiality.
3. Support clinic administration, including appointment bookings, clinic preparation and documentation management.
4. Process and maintain accurate patient information and departmental records.
5. Assist with audits, quality improvement activities and departmental compliance requirements.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who has:
6. Previous experience in an administrative, reception or customer service role.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
9. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
10. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
