The mission of Global Tax is to ensure the firm’s compliance with tax laws and reporting obligations across jurisdictions. The Tax Division supports business lines in analyzing activities, operations, and transactions to evaluate tax consequences and reputational risks. The Business Analysis team provides expertise during the design, testing, and implementation of business and regulatory changes, leveraging data analytics and technology to optimize processes and scalability. We partner with stakeholders across multiple business lines, and our work directly contributes to the firm’s success. YOUR IMPACT
We seek an Associate/VP to join our London Tax Business Analysis team. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across various business lines to implement business and regulatory changes in a dynamic, global environment. This role requires an energetic, enthusiastic, and driven professional.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
1. Advise the firm's professionals on operational tax implications of transactions and new product developments.
2. Drive strategic initiatives and resolve issues.
3. Partner with senior stakeholders across Business Lines, Trading, Corporate Tax, and Engineering.
4. Perform impact assessments on tax processes for new markets, products, reorganizations, system changes, and regulations.
5. Industrialize and automate processes, ensuring effective controls.
6. Act as a risk manager by assessing and monitoring tax regulatory landscape and obligations.
7. Opportunities for career development, especially in regulatory change management.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR - BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Detail-oriented with ownership of projects, organized, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strategic focus.
3. Excellent communication skills for influencing stakeholders and decision-making.
4. Intermediate/advanced Excel skills.
5. Team player with flexibility and quick learning ability.
6. Motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with tax regulation change management initiatives.
2. Background in withholding/transactional taxes is beneficial but not essential.
3. Ability to use business intelligence and automation tools like Alteryx, Signavio, and Tableau.
