Job Description
As Senior Critical Engineering Manager, you will provide site engineering team senior leadership.
You will be accountable for all governance and process being applied as directed by ISS and Client Prioritising Health & Safety & Statutory Requirements.
You will have 100% compliance within assigned Site/Area alongside 100% Uptime of critical services working to the governance set out in the OPTIMA governance manual.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the planning of PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems
2. Ensure Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and ISS Safe systems of work SSOW
3. To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed
4. To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all Engineering related reactive system issues and help desk requests
5. To co-ordinate initial actions associated with all requests from the client
6. Ensure all working activities are delivered in line set out in OPTIMA CRITICAL governance
7. Ensure all mandatory and ISS/Barclays training is completed by the wider team on time
8. Ensure all incidents are escalated and communicated within Contracted SLA, actioned and documented in line with applicable Governance
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
9. Qualified in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline
10. IOSH and/or NEBOSH Certificate
11. Minimum 5 Year managerial experience within a similar role
12. Previous experience as an authorised person in electrical or mechanical engineering
13. Ability to manage complex operations against a P&L/set budget
14. Experience in a similar banking environment with multi-site locations and managing engineering within a critical environment
15. Effective communication skills at all levels both orally and using IT platforms
16. Detailed Knowledge of Statutory legislation in relation to building service and maintenance
