We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our team in the UK, Cramlington. In this role, you will act as a strategic and hands‑on partner to the business, ensuring that people, organisation and performance are fully aligned with business objectives.
You will report to the HR Manager in the Netherlands and work closely with the Dutch HR team in the daily execution of HR activities. At the same time, you will be part of the international HR team, collaborating with colleagues across Europe and North America (US/CAN), contributing to a consistent and aligned global HR approach.
As HR Business Partner, you will be the primary point of contact for your assigned entity and take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, working closely with managers and stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner, you act as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership, translating business needs into effective and pragmatic HR solutions. By building strong relationships across the organisation, alignment between business objectives and people strategy is ensured.
You play a key role in organisational development and workforce planning, supporting the business in adapting to change and preparing for future growth. Within your scope, you take ownership of the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, ensuring a consistent and high‑quality employee experience.
Together with managers, you actively drive performance management and talent development, strengthening teams and contributing to a high‑performing organisation. You handle employee relations topics with professionalism and consistency, ensuring fair and compliant processes in line with policies, local legislation and specifically UK employment law.
In addition, you contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of HR frameworks and processes, using data and insights to support informed decision‑making. Working closely with the HR team, you ensure smooth HR operations, accurate data management and a strong connection between strategic priorities and daily execution.
What You Bring
Experience & Education
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
* CIPD Level 5 or 7 qualification (preferred)
* Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant HR experience
* Experience in an HR Business Partner or generalist role within a dynamic environment
Skills
* Strong stakeholder management and advisory skills
* Ability to translate business needs into pragmatic HR actions
* Experience with complex HR topics and employee cases
* Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
* Analytical mindset with experience in HR data and reporting
