About the role
As a Senior Client Governance Analyst, you will be part of the Client Governance (CG) team in Edinburgh, focusing on providing excellent service to internal stakeholders and clients of FSI, typically invested directly in our funds and products.
You will also support the team in servicing the needs of our intermediary clients and develop a good understanding of their requirements.
This role is integral to the safe and efficient delivery of all aspects of client governance, contained within the remit of the team.
A key aspect of this role will be to support the Senior Client Governance Manager(s) in the leadership and development of all team members through coaching and leading by example.
The role will involve project management of various activities within the team and broader FSI business. Therefore, a key purpose is to be able to switch between analysis, delivery, and project management, as needed.
About you
* Demonstrable experience from an asset management or asset servicing firm, with a focus on client servicing skills.
* Understanding of the client experience in asset management/asset servicing – what does good look like and how to achieve it.
* Aware of the regulatory environment across multiple jurisdictions where the firm operates.
Your experience
* Experience in distribution and customer relationship management within an asset management business, covering institutional clients and wholesale distribution across various product types (e.g., UCITs, OEIC, private and public markets).
* Ability to communicate process changes and collaborate across functions to meet client governance objectives.
* Committed to delivering quality and timely outcomes, managing objectives, and achieving results.
* Aware of how Artificial Intelligence can be applied in daily work.
* A team player willing to challenge and be challenged.
* Capable of working independently, multi-tasking, and meeting strict deadlines.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Co-pilot, Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* Experience coordinating responses to client requests via email or through teams.
* Liaise with investors and relevant teams to resolve queries on instructions and activities.
* Stay updated on regulatory developments and adapt policies accordingly.
* Proactively identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
* Communicate issues internally and document/escalate as needed, representing clients and their representatives.
* Participate in regulatory projects and initiatives, such as Consumer Duty requirements.
