Key job responsibilities
As a Web Development Engineer II on the ShipTech Analytics team, your key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable web applications that support the core functionality of the ShipTech Analytics platform. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, writing clean and well-documented code, and participating in code reviews to ensure a robust and secure codebase.
Additionally, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, as well as identifying opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations. This may involve researching and evaluating new technologies to enhance the platform's capabilities and user experience.
As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to mentor junior engineers, share your technical expertise, and contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for ShipTech Analytics. This includes providing guidance on architectural decisions, design patterns, and development methodologies to ensure the team delivers scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions.
Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in driving the continuous evolution and innovation of the ShipTech Analytics platform, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance, and user-centricity.
