Part-Qualified Accountant Friendly Accountancy Practice Lingfield, Surrey

Location: Lingfield, Surrey
Job Type: Full-Time (Office Based)
Salary: GBP27,000 - GBP35,000 DOE + Study Support + CPD
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare year-end accounts for a mix of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
* Handle bookkeeping duties, bank reconciliations, and ledger management
* Prepare and file VAT returns (including MTD)
* Assist in management accounts and cash flow forecasting
* Respond to client queries and maintain regular communication
* Support in preparing personal and corporation tax returns
We’re Looking For:
* Part-qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT Level 4)
* 2 years experience in a UK accountancy practice
* Solid knowledge of Xero & QuickBooks (certification is a plus)
* Familiarity with UK accounting standards and VAT legislation
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience
* Someone proactive, organized, and confident juggling multiple deadlines
Bonus Points For:
* Experience with Xero add-ons like Dext or Hubdoc
* Familiarity with QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
* Experience with VAT registration/de-registration
* Understanding of HMRC and Companies House submissions
