Main duties of the job
To lead the Practice Nursing team in all aspects of the delivery of high quality services Writing, approving, disseminating and reviewing of appropriate policies and protocols Infection Control and COSHH Lead, including Clinical Waste Working with QOF manager to achieve targets Line Manager to the Nursing Team, including appraisal and revalidation functions Chairing monthly nurse meetings and completing minutes Completing relevant audits and monitoring e.g. of fridge temperatures, vaccine stock, infection control Overseeing the ordering of stock including dressings and vaccines and checking of stock levels and expiry dates
