Salary & Benefits
Up to £53,200 FTE DOE. Basic OT salary starts at £33,000+, Specialist at £39,500+, Highly Specialist at £48,000+. Hours & Contract
22.5 hours per week (8:30 am‑4:30 pm, Mondays and two other days to be agreed). Permanent, term‑time only, with flexibility for full‑time contract if required.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs, within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working.
* Maintain a caseload under the support of a clinical supervisor and site lead, and contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Work collaboratively with the education team and other professionals to support pupils’ independence and well‑being.
* Produce clear and concise report writing and documentation in line with professional standards.
* Participate in research projects, special‑interest groups and wider OT networks, contributing to continuous professional development.
Essential Criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree.
* Valid HCPC registration.
* Registered member of RCOT.
* Relevant experience delivering OT services in an educational setting, preferably with neurodivergent or SEMH pupils.
* Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and practical application to support independence.
* Experience of multi‑professional work with teams or services in a similar speciality.
* Ability to work independently, flexibly and confidently.
* Clear and concise report‑writing skills.
* Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
* Interest in sensory integration or sensory‑informed practice (SI training in progress or completed a plus, but not essential).
