About the Role:
My client are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to support a major construction project based in Wrexham. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient document control systems, ensuring accurate records management, and supporting the wider project team in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all incoming and outgoing project documentation, ensuring accuracy, version control, and timely distribution.

Maintain the electronic document management system (EDMS) and physical filing systems.
*
Liaise with project managers, engineers, contractors, and external stakeholders to track document submissions and approvals.
*
Ensure documentation meets quality assurance standards and complies with contractual and regulatory requirements.
*
Support audits and inspections by providing timely and accurate document records.
*
Assist with document templates, reports, and formatting as needed.
Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar Document Controller role, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
*
Proficiency with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, Viewpoint, Asite, or similar platforms).
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*
Knowledge of construction project documentation and terminology is highly desirable.
